Hi, my name is Dave Page and I'm a pastor at Saddleback Church, a spiritual entrepreneur, a former denominational leader and church planter. I left a large church to start a new church yet underestimated the financial toll it would take on my family. My son (Josh) was beginning a Music Institute in Hollywood and my daughter (Jessica) wanted to attend UCLA. I didn't want my kids to graduate and be riddled with debt. My wife shared my conviction but didn't see how we could avoid taking out student loans.

I prayed and asked God to provide some way for us to accomplish our goal. A few weeks later I received a call from Stacey. Her family was a part of our first church plant in SoCal. In fact, Stacey used to babysit our kids. "Pastor Dave, will you marry me?" she asked. I agreed to do her wedding and I began receiving invitations to do more weddings. The business began to grow so I recruited two other pastors in the LA area to help me. As a result, I was able to pay cash for my kids to go through college. Josh graduated from the Music Institute and Jessica recently graduated from UCLA with honors. Yes!

I was asked to do more and more weddings for unchurched couples, most of whom were living together prior to their wedding. I received a call from my friend, Pastor Tim Jacobs, lead pastor of Compass Church in Phoenix. Tim wanted to do in Phoenix what I was doing in Los Angeles. I coached him through the process and helped him set up his own wedding business. Wedding Pastor Tim became the first pastor in our Wedding Pastors Network. We now have twelve Wedding Pastors across the United States.
